Privacy Policy
Last updated: 5 September 2026
This policy explains what AI Reputation does with your information. It is written to be read, not to be impenetrable. If anything here is unclear, email pizza.apps@yahoo.com and ask.
Who is responsible for your data
Andrea Salmeri, Entrepreneur individuel (sole trader), France, is the data controller. That means the legal responsibility for how your data is handled sits with that person. Contact: pizza.apps@yahoo.com.
What we collect
Deliberately little. There are no accounts, no passwords, and no tracking or advertising cookies.
- The business you enter. The name or website address you type in, so we can identify the business and analyse it.
- Publicly available business information. Address, category, rating, review count and price level, retrieved from Google. This is information already published about the business.
- Your email address, if you buy a report — so we can send your receipt and reach you about your purchase.
- Your purchase record. Which plan you bought and when.
- Technical logs. Our host records IP addresses and request details, as any web server does, to keep the service running and secure.
We never see or store your card details. Those are entered on Stripe's own payment page and go directly to Stripe.
Why we are allowed to use it (legal basis)
- To provide what you asked for — running the analysis and delivering your report. Legal basis: performance of a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
- To take payment and keep accounting records. Legal basis: contract, and legal obligation for tax records (Article 6(1)(b) and (c)).
- To keep the service working and prevent abuse. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a functioning, non-abused service (Article 6(1)(f)).
We do not send marketing email, and we do not sell or share your data with anyone for their own purposes.
Who else sees it
To run the service we use the providers below. They act on our instructions and may only use the data for the purpose listed.
| Provider | What it receives | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Google (Places API) | The business name or website you type | United States |
| Perplexity AI | Questions containing the business name and city — never your email | United States |
| Stripe | Your email, and card details you enter directly on Stripe's own page | United States and Ireland |
| Vercel | Technical request logs, including IP address | Servers in Frankfurt, Germany; company in the United States |
| Neon | Report contents, your email, purchase details | Servers in Frankfurt, Germany |
Some of these are based in the United States. Where data leaves the European Economic Area, it is transferred under the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision. Your reports and purchase records are stored on servers in Frankfurt, Germany.
How long we keep it
- Reports are kept so you can look back at them, until you ask us to delete them.
- Purchase records are kept for 10 years, because French law requires commercial records to be retained.
- Technical logs are kept for a short period by our host and then discarded.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us to:
- Give you a copy of the data we hold about you
- Correct anything that is wrong
- Delete your data, where we are not legally required to keep it
- Restrict or object to how we use it
- Send your data to you or another provider in a portable format
Email pizza.apps@yahoo.com and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle it, you can complain to the Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL).
Cookies and local storage
We use no advertising or analytics cookies, so there is no cookie banner. The site stores a small amount of information in your own browser — which business you confirmed, and whether you have bought a report — purely so the site works as you move between pages. It never leaves your browser and is not used to track you. Clearing your browser data removes it.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
